SEDD Qualifies Professional Trainers

HE Sultan Abdullah bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Chairman of Sharjah Economic Development Department “SEDD”, affirmed that the Department pays great attention to continuously improve the skills and competencies of employees to achieve continuous institutional development and enhance their knowledge by providing them with the most important skills in the training field. The Department is keen on developing and empowering human resources and enhancing the internal environment conducive to creativity and excellence that contributes to improving the overall performance. Such thing is done to achieve its strategic objectives calling for improving and developing the efficiency of human, financial and technical resources, and adopting best practices in procedures, quality systems and institutional excellence.

In addition, SEDD works continuously to organize various training courses for its employees based on its needs and the outputs to be reached, each according to his specialization. It should be noted  that the course of qualifying professional trainers is among the most important courses that have been presented to raise functional efficiency and institutional quality by building individual competencies and forming human capital capable of making a qualitative leap in the level of skills and functional capabilities of the employees.

Furthermore, HE said that the Department pays great attention to implement an annual plan for training and rehabilitation during honoring number of employees who obtained the certified professional trainer program and who, in turn, contributed to providing and organizing training programs for the Department’s employees and its partners. This falls within SEDD’s concerns in human capital and its endeavor towards creating an experienced career cadre capable of efficiently performing the required tasks entrusted. Such thing will help to attain its vision, mission and strategic objectives to create a trainer who is able to represent SEDD through training outputs and provide needed knowledge and professional skills to reach a professional trainer with high functional competencies who work within a stimulating work environment that encourages innovation, deepens job affiliation and achieves institutional sufficiency of leadership cadres, supervisory and specialist citizenship.
