HE Sultan Abdullah bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Chairman of Sharjah Economic Development Department “SEDD” received a delegation from Sharjah Investment and Development Authority “SHUROOQ” which was headed by H.E. Ahmed Al Qaseer is Acting CEO of Sharjah Investment and Development Authority, H.E. Mohamed Al Musharrkh, CEO of Invest in Sharjah Office, and Mr. Marwan Alichla, Director of Investment Promotion & Support of Invest in Sharjah. The meeting was held to discuss ways of cooperation and to enhance coordination between the two parties for the benefit of the investors. The delegation was received by a number of directors and managers from SEDD.

During the meeting, the two parties discussed common issues, mechanisms and ways to enhance this cooperation. This was done to contribute to achieving leadership in all fields in order to enhance integration, cooperation and coordination in advancing the advancement of economic planning mechanisms in line with ambitious aspirations to build a competitive and productive knowledge-based economy. Likely, the two sides discussed many common issues that are in the public interest, and ideas were exchanged on some of the procedures followed. The delegation also learned about the work structure and strategy used in common areas, in addition to the latest technologies and solutions used in the Department. In addition, they reviewed mechanisms and ways to enhance cooperation, which contributes to building a sustainable business environment in the emirate.

At the end of the meeting, the SEDD appreciated the delegation's visit, praising the parties' keenness to cooperate in various fields in line with local and federal government service standards. The parties also emphasized on the importance of holding such meetings because of their role in accelerating the development process and enhancing the investment movement, in addition to attracting investors and advancing the economic growth in Sharjah.
