HE Sultan Abdullah bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Chairman of Sharjah Economic Development Department “SEDD”, received a delegation from Sharjah Health Authority “SHA” headed by HE Dr. Abdelaziz Saeed Obaid bin Butti Almheiri, Chairman of Sharjah Health Authority “SHA”. This meeting aimed at enhancing means of cooperation in order to provide all capabilities to contribute at achieving sustainable development in a way that serves all sectors in Sharjah and implements the directives of the wise leadership in the emirate.

At the beginning of the meeting, HE Sultan Abdullah bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, SEDD Chairman, welcomed the delegation, expressing his happiness with this visit and its role in strengthening the various cooperation relations. He also praised the efforts made by the Authority and the role entrusted to it in providing the elements for a healthy life for society in accordance with the best international standards.

The two parties discussed common issues, mechanisms for health regulation, health licenses, and ways to enhance this cooperation. This was done to attain leadership in Sharjah in all fields and integration between all government agencies to improve services and achieve the aspirations of customers, keep abreast of developments, and establish a community communication system and infrastructure, according to the highest levels of efficiency. This contributes to building a sustainable business environment in the emirate.

During the meeting, the most important procedures followed in licensing health facilities were presented. The delegation was introduced to the work structure and strategy used in common areas, in addition to the latest technologies and solutions used in the Department. Also, the two parties discussed mechanisms and ways to enhance cooperation in a way that contributes to building a sustainable business environment in the emirate.

HE SEDD Chairman emphasized on the importance of the health sector in achieving sustainable development in the emirate by providing comprehensive and innovative health services with international standards. Likely, HE pointed out that SEDD is working to support the efforts of the Sharjah Health Authority, by supporting investments with strategic dimensions in the health sector in the emirate. HE explained that Sharjah Economic Development Department has made great strides in developing standards for the efficiency of its services, and bringing them to the highest levels, with the aim of achieving its mission and vision in achieving sustainable economic development and achieving quality in practices. He stressed that the Department is constantly seeking to ensure the provision of the best services to its customers, according to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. In addition, He pointed out that SEDD is constantly working to develop work in its centers and offices at the level of the emirate, with the aim of accelerating the process of fulfilling customer requests on the one hand, and modernizing service delivery systems and raising their levels on the other hand, to achieve the best possible service for customers, and in application of the standards of the customer service charter, which contributes to reaching customer satisfaction.

By the end of the meeting, the two parties stressed the importance of enhancing future cooperation in line with the standards of government service that Sharjah aspires to. Also, They pointed out the importance of holding such meetings in the future because of their role in accelerating the development process and enhancing the investment movement in the emirate and uniting efforts and work between the two parties.
