Commenting on that, HE Sultan Abdullah bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, SEDD Chairman, stated that the Department pays great attention to such sector in order to carry out the decisions and directives of HH Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and HH Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Chairman of the Executive Council, whom call for the inevitability of helping young citizens to emerge into the markets and practice economic activities. This will support such category to bring out their creative ideas as well as will improve the economic sector in Sharjah.

HE also said that “Eitimad” license places great attention to regulating the practice of commercial work at houses. He also added that the license helps in activating the participation of citizens in the activities of the economic sector, and supporting their ideas and initiatives to invest in private projects. Likely, such license contributes to opening new fields and roles for the citizens, urging them to innovate and develop skills, guaranteeing the intellectual and economic rights of project owners, and providing support to raise the commercial and promotional level of activity.

Additionally, HE emphasized that the Department in concerned to provide services and incentives to support the empowerment of women in the economy. Also, it contributes to enhancing the role of women and the implications of its work outputs on the emirate's GDP. Likely, it participates in consolidating the understanding of sustainable economic development priorities and highlighting the role of women in it. In addition, HE pointed out that SEDD placed women's empowerment within its strategic objectives and various plans by contributing to highlighting women's participation in the labor market, whereas the launch of the new package of “Eitimad” license activities falls in this context.

Furthermore, HE illustrated that “Eitimad” license comes within SEDD’s efforts to enhance the business environment in the emirate with the aim of creating a sustainable diversification for Sharjah’s economy based on activities with high benefit.  Also, it aims at encouraging private investment projects and increasing the interest of individuals, especially citizens, by facilitating procedures and requirements in order to enable them to transform their ideas, innovations and inventions into a successful business.

For his part, Ahmed bin Saed Al Suwaidi, Deputy Director of Commercial Affairs Department at SEDD, stated that the cosmetic activity was permitted in order to enhance the contribution of service activities at the level of the emirate. It should be noted that the licensing of this activity by the Department was done in coordination with Sharjah City Municipality to obtain the approval of the Health Control Department.

He added that this activity will be subject to a number of conditions and controls that would contribute to organizing the granting of a license, including obtaining a training certificate in the field of cosmetology and obtaining a professional health card from the Public Health Clinic Department in Sharjah City Municipality.

He explained that the home license "Eitimad" provides special privileges to its holders, which include holding annual exhibitions for license holders, providing educational courses and training services, incubating projects, developing and following them up, promoting and marketing small and medium enterprises, and supporting members' projects to obtain the commercial franchise opportunity.

Also, he pointed out that "Eitimad" license works to preserve the rights of merchants and their trade names to preserve the goods, products and services they provide within an official framework. This would enable them to avoid fraud and imitations of the name and the commercial logo and the exclusive products of some projects with specific ideas. Such thing qualifies it for commercial privilege, which is distinctive commercial services for merchants of this household category, as it is a legal commercial license issued to any citizen residing in the Emirate of Sharjah.
