During Inspection Tour in the Emirate SEDD Chairman honors One of the Oldest Licenses in Sharjah

HE Hamad Ali Abdalla Al Mahmoud, Chairman of Sharjah Economic Development Department “SEDD” and Member of Sharjah Executive Council, and his accompanying delegation, had a tour in the emirate's markets to enhance direct communication with business owners.

During the tour, HE honored one of the oldest commercial licenses in the emirate, that is “Gulf Manufacturing Co. LLC”, in recognition of its important role and continuous contribution to supporting economic activity. During the tour, HE and the accompanied delegation were briefed about the company's history, its establishment, its key stages of development, and its continued success, which reflects the strength and resilience of Sharjah's business environment.

Commenting on this visit, HE stated that such recognition embodies the deep appreciation that the Government of Sharjah holds to investors and business license holders who have contributed to establishing the local economy, noting that the continuity of these establishments represents an inspiring model for new generations of investors, and reflects the stable and stimulating business environment provided by the emirate.

Also, HE Added that this recognition for the oldest license in Sharjah confirms the importance of preserving the commercial heritage and promoting the sustainability of projects, especially family-owned ones, given their essential role in supporting the national economy and establishing a culture of entrepreneurship.

Likely, HE said that SEDD will carry on its role to develop its services system and provide initiatives that support the business sector, in order to empower investors and enhance the competitiveness of economic activities, in line with the emirate’s vision towards achieving sustainable economic development.

On the other hand, the honored license holders expressed their pride and appreciation for this recognition, praising the Department’s continuous support for business owners, which has had a significant impact on the continuity and development of the business over the years.
