SEDD, Emirates Post discuss Strengthening Strategic Partnership

Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD) received a delegation from Emirates Post Group at its main building to discuss potential cooperation between the two parties. The visit aimed to provide solutions and proposals to offer comprehensive package aimed at simplifying business establishment processes to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This comes as part of the mutual efforts to improve services provided to investors, in a way that goes in line with the government service standards.

At the beginning of the meeting, HE Fahad Ahmed Al Khamiri, Director of Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD), welcomed the delegation and stressed on the importance of holding such meetings, which enhance cooperation and coordination to contribute to achieving sustainable economic development. Also, HE pointed out that such cooperation in essential among all government entities to support all sectors and achieve the strategic objectives, UAE's vision, and the aspirations of the wise government. Likely HE added that the Department is committed to exchange expertise and experiences that would enhance performance and improve its efficiency.

The meeting discussed ways to cooperate to provide small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with a comprehensive business package designed to simplify the process of establishing their businesses, such as enabling retail logistics, digital site management, and SME visibility. These packages aim to simplify administrative burdens on companies and provide startups with the opportunity to collaborate with industry leaders, contributing to business growth and mutual benefits.

At the end of the meeting, the two sides emphasized on the importance of holding such meetings on an ongoing basis, given their significant role in accelerating development processes, unifying and promoting mutual efforts, with the goal of achieving better integration in work, supporting the emirate's business community, and achieving economic sustainability and prosperity.
