Sharjah Economic Development Department “SEDD” announced the launch of a mutual initiative with Al Teneiji Business Group by providing offices in the Al Teneiji Business Center for branches of foreign companies wishing to invest in the emirate, as an extension of the previous initiative through which offices were made available to new investors. This comes as part of the Department's efforts to strengthen relations with its partners in the private sector, and to enhance its tireless efforts to provide all forms of support necessary for the development and sustainability of the business sector in Sharjah, in a way that contributes to supporting some of the successful models of investments in the emirate.

Furthermore, the Department emphasized that this initiative is a strategic step aimed at ensuring that companies are provided with the necessary tools and resources to improve their operations, comply with regulatory requirements, focus on achieving growth, and create a stimulating work environment that supports the prosperity of companies in a competitive market.

Also, SEDD noted that it had previously launched innovative initiatives to enhance the performance of small and medium sized enterprises “SMEs”, such as launching a business matchmaking website, providing training workshops, and facilitating their participation in exhibitions. This falls within the Department’s concerns to support business partners, strengthen relations between them, facilitate trading process, and other activities that serve the interests of the concerned parties and serve its orientations towards diversifying sources of income and providing opportunities to develop new economic sectors. It should be noted that SEDD also works to overcome the obstacles facing entrepreneurs, by providing them with an incubator and stimulating investment environment that enables them to be creative and productive.
