SEDD meets Entrepreneurs and Investors at Al Suyoh Council

Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD), with cooperation Suburbs Affairs Department, held a introductory meeting with investors, entrepreneurs, and owners of national projects, in addition to those wishing to run new projects, at the Al Suyoh District Council, as part of its ongoing efforts to support the business environment and promote the culture of entrepreneurship in the emirate

Such meeting comes within SEDD’s concerns to enhance direct communication with entrepreneurs, listen to their aspirations and needs, and introduce the services and facilities provided to support national projects and stimulate investment, which contributes to enhancing economic growth and provide opportunities for young people to join market confidently and effectively.

At the beginning of the meeting, SEDD welcomed the attendees and stressed on its commitment to support entrepreneurs. The meeting included a presentation of SEDD services and the support provided to national projects, in addition to the opportunities for cooperation and partnerships, and the role played by government entities in empowering and supporting entrepreneurs. Also, SEDD received inquiries, questions, and suggestions from attendees as part of its interest to offer a flexible and suitable work environment for entrepreneurs and investors.

From his part, Ahmed Saif Saed Al Suwaidi, Deputy Director of Commercial Affairs Department at SEDD, said that organizing these meetings reflects SEDD’s commitment to support entrepreneurs and national project owners. He added that the Department is continuously working to develop the system of services provided to investors, facilitate procedures, and provide a stimulating environment that helps to adopt ideas and projects which will contribute to strengthening the local economy.

Also, Al Suwaidi added that the cooperation with the Suburbs Affairs Department contributes to expanding communication with the community and reaching entrepreneurs across the emirate, emphasizing the importance of partnerships between government entities in supporting economic initiatives and empowering entrepreneurial projects.

Furthermore, SEDD affirmed that these meetings represent an effective platform for exchanging ideas and strengthening partnerships with the local community, praising the role of district councils in embracing economic initiatives and enhancing communication between government entities and community members, in line with the emirate's directions to support the national economy and empower entrepreneurial projects.
