SEDD, Sharjah Police discuss Means of Cooperation

HE Hamad Ali Abdalla Al Mahmoud, Chairman of Sharjah Economic Development Department “SEDD”, received HE Brigadier Ibrahim Musabah Al Ajil, Director General of the General Administration of Comprehensive Police Stations, and HE Brigadier Omar Abu Al Zoud, Director General of the Criminal and Investigation Department at Sharjah Police, in the presence of HE Fahad Ahmed Al Khamiri, SEDD Director, and number of officials. The meeting aimed at enhancing mutual cooperation, exchanging expertise, and coordinating between the two parties, and providing all the capabilities for the business sector, investors, and stakeholders to contribute to achieving sustainable economic development that serves the various economic sectors in the emirate.

At the beginning of the meeting, HE SEDD Chairman welcomed the guests, stressing the importance of holding such meetings, which enhance cooperation and coordination between the two sides, unify efforts, and accelerate the implementation and completion of mutual projects.

Also, the two sides discussed means of enhancing the quality of life for investors, by discoursing mechanisms for developing smart surveillance camera connections in vital facilities, and exploring innovative solutions that contribute to supporting the sustainability of the economic, industrial, and commercial sectors, thus enhancing the construction of a safe and attractive environment for growth and investment in the emirate.

Additionally, the two sides highlighted several topics of mutual interest, including unauthorized websites, online auctions, and commercial accounts on social media. The aim is to provide all possible opportunities for the business sector, investors, and customers, and contribute to achieving sustainable economic development that serves all sectors in Sharjah, in accordance with the directives of the emirate's wise leadership.

Commenting on that, HE SEDD Chairman, stressed that the Department is concerned about enhancing constructive cooperation with the Sharjah Police Headquarter, noting the level of cooperation between the two sides in several areas. This is aimed at unifying and integrating their efforts to keep pace with the economic development witnessed by the emirate and serve comprehensive and sustainable development efforts.

For his part, HE Brigadier Ibrahim Musabah Al Ajil, Director General of the General Administration of Comprehensive Police Stations, expressed his deep appreciation for SEDD, commending its vital role in supporting the emirate's vision and establishing a safe and investment-friendly economic environment. Likely, HE pointed out that such meeting reflects the solid partnership between the two sides and their commitment to enhancing cooperation and developing working mechanisms, thus contributing to achieving sustainable development and consolidating the emirate's position as a leading economic destination.
