SEDD implements Sharjah Ruler’s Directives to Set Annual Fees at Just One Dirham

Sharjah Economic Development Department “SEDD” started to implement the wise directive of HH Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to set the annual fees for domestic license holders at Souq Al Juma and adjacent shops in Mleiha at just “one dirham”.

Commenting on this initiative, HE Hamad Ali Abdalla Al Mahmoud, SEDD Chairman and Member of the Executive Council, affirmed that the Department attaches great importance to this sector, in implementation of the wise directives of His Highness Ruler of Sharjah, who calls for the imperative of helping citizens join the markets and engage in economic activity, and supporting their businesses, initiatives, and ideas to achieve success and sustainability, with the aim of strengthening economic activity in Sharjah.

Also, HE pointed out that "Eitimad" domestic license places great importance on regulating the practice of home based businesses, activating citizens' participation in economic activities, and supporting their ideas and initiatives to invest in private projects.
