SEDD receives SCDA

HE Fahad Ahmed Al Khamiri, Director of Sharjah Economic Development Department “SEDD” received HE Brigadier General Yousef Obaid Yousef Harmoul Al Shamsi, Director-General of Sharjah Civil Defence Authority “SCDA”, HE Brigadier General Saeed Obaid Rashid Al Suwaidi, Deputy Director-General of SCDA, and their accompanying delegation at SEDD headquarter.

The meeting came as part of the ongoing efforts to regulate the business environment and enhance the compliance of economic establishments with the laws and regulations adopted in the emirate. Also, it highlighted the aspects of creating a safe investment environment, protecting consumers, and supporting business sustainability according to the highest standards

Additionally, the two sides discussed areas of cooperation aimed at enhancing the quality of life for investors, by discoursing mechanisms for developing the electronic connection of the "single window" system, and exploring innovative solutions to common challenges in protecting lives and property. This, in turn, contributes to supporting the sustainability of the economic, industrial, and commercial sectors, thus enhancing the construction of a safe and attractive environment for growth and investment in Sharjah.

Furthermore, the two parties discussed ways to enhance cooperation in a number of common areas, in line with Sharjah's strategic vision to enhance the business environment and provide services at world class standards. Likewise, they stressed on the importance of contributing to improving performance, providing the best services to customers, and continuously developing the sector, which contributes to attracting investments and enhancing the emirate's economic competitiveness. Moreover, the two parties emphasized the importance of strengthening partnerships between various government agencies, which contributes to achieving integration and exchanging expertise to serve sustainable development goals, reflecting Sharjah's commitment to keeping pace with global developments and building a sustainable knowledge-based economy.
