To Enhance Competitiveness of Business Environment SEDD participates at Sharjah Investment Forum 2025
Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD) participated in Sharjah Investment Forum 2025, one of the most prominent regional platforms that brings together a select group of decision makers, investors, and experts in the fields of economics and sustainable development to discuss investment prospects and growth opportunities in Sharjah and UAE.
Commenting on this participation, HE Hamad Ali Abdulla Al Mahmoud, SEDD Chairman and Member of the Executive Council, said: "Our participation in Sharjah Investment Forum 2025, is a valuable opportunity for us to introduce investors to the Department's working method and the services and facilities it provides to business owners and companies. This participation is considered a great opportunity to meet strategic partners representing Sharjah, elite group of decision-makers, leaders, and senior government officials at the local, regional, and international levels."
Additionally, HE clarified that the participation falls within SEDD’s commitment to supporting the Emirate of Sharjah's strategic directions towards strengthening its position as an attractive and competitive economic hub at the regional and global levels. Also, HE pointed out that the Forum represents an important platform for reviewing economic initiatives and policies that contribute to improving the business environment and attracting quality investments.
Likewise, HE illustrated that the Department has succeeded in encouraging local and international investments in commercial and other projects by focusing on regulating and stimulating the emirate's economic sectors. This represents one of its most important objectives, which is to create an economic climate conducive to growth and attracting investments.
Furthermore, SEDD showcased its most prominent initiatives and projects supporting entrepreneurship and innovation, its efforts to empower small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and its role in spreading investment awareness and promoting a culture of self employment among segments of society.
Moreover, SEDD emphasized that it will carry on its role to cooperate with various government and private entities to enhance the competitiveness of Sharjah and support its sustainable development process.
