Aiming at Enhancing Future Readiness & Empowering Leaders SEDD organizes AI Training Programs

Sharjah Economic Development Department “SEDD” organized an advanced training program titled “AI in Workplace," targeting the managers and directors of the Department. This program is part of SEDD’s ongoing efforts to promote a culture of digital innovation and data analysis using artificial intelligence, enhancing leaders' ability to navigate the variables of the digital age.

The program aims to enable leaders to employ artificial intelligence tools and technologies to develop the work environment, improve organizational performance, and make strategic decisions based on data analysis, therefore enhancing the Department's competitiveness and keeping pace with rapid technological transformations.

In addition, this program covered several topics including an introduction to AI and its tools, AI applications in the government sector and fostering innovation, opportunities for improving corporate processes through data analysis and extracting insights that aid the decision-making process, and the ethics of using AI in workplace. The program also included interactive workshops and real-life case studies.

Commenting on this program, HE Hamad Ali Abdalla Al Mahmoud, SEDD Chairman, stressed that organizing this program comes within SEDD’s ongoing efforts to develop the capabilities of its administrative cadres and raise their efficiency in dealing with the latest tools and technologies. HE emphasized on the belief that artificial intelligence is no longer a future option, but rather an absolute necessity for enhancing government efficiency and providing innovative services. Therefore, he stressed that the Department is committed to empowering its leaders with modern tools to ensure sustainable institutional excellence and enhance readiness for future requirements.
