Aiming at highlighting efforts of service centers by SEDD Council
“Sharjah Economic” honors Service Centers for their Efforts in 2025
Hamad Ali Abdalla Al Mahmoud: “Service Centers are key partners in to promote economic system in Sharjah”
Sharjah Economic Development Department “SEDD” organized a specialized meeting with service centers contracted with it as part of “SEDD Council" initiative. The meeting was held at the Department's headquarter with the participation of a number of service center owners and officials at SEDD.
This meeting was organized as part of the Department's strategic plans to strengthen relations with its partners, achieve effective communication, enhance partnership and integration with investors and owners of economic establishments operating in the emirate, and discuss their development proposals and observations that contribute to strengthening the investment environment and supporting the business sector.
During the meeting, SEDD honored the service centers contracted with it, in appreciation of their outstanding efforts during 2025, and their effective role in improving the quality of services provided to the public, and enhancing the efficiency of the work system in line with Sharjah Government’s orientations in developing services and speeding up customer procedures.
This recognition came during the meeting of SEDD Council with its partners, in the presence of a number of directors, officials, and owners and representatives of service centers, where the most prominent achievements that contributed to enhancing customer satisfaction and raising the level of operational efficiency were reviewed, in addition to the initiatives implemented by the centers in simplifying procedures and providing an advanced service experience that is consistent with the best government standards.
In his opening speech during the meeting, HE Hamad Ali Abdulla Al Mahmoud, SEDD Chairman and Member of Sharjah Executive Council, affirmed that this honor comes within the Department’s concerns to strengthen strategic partnerships with the private sector, and to ensure the continued development of services provided to the public.
Therefore, HE said: “Service Centers are key partners in to promote economic system in Sharjah. During 2025, they provided outstanding performance that reflects their commitment to the professional standards and high quality that we aspire to, appreciating their efforts in supporting SEDD’s vision aimed at providing advanced economic services that contribute to simplifying business practices and enhancing the competitiveness of the business environment in Sharjah”.
Also, HE added that the Department will continue to coordinate with service centers and enable them to develop their capabilities through training programs and periodic evaluations, with the aim of enhancing the quality of services and ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience.
Moreover, HE SEDD Chairman stressed that the Department will carry on the process of developing its services by adopting innovative solutions, saying, “at SEDD, we are working to promote a culture of excellence and innovation in all contracted centers, and we seek to ensure the provision of services based on speed, accuracy and transparency, as the pivotal role played by these centers is an extension of the emirate’s vision to enhance the quality of life and provide an attractive and advanced business environment that keeps pace with the aspirations of investors and entrepreneurs.”
