SEDD, SCM discuss Mutual Cooperation
Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD) received a delegation from Sharjah City Municipality (SCM) to discuss means of cooperation and exchange of expertise in couple of common areas. This falls within the efforts to regulate the business environment and enhance the commitment of economic establishments to the adopted laws and regulations in the emirate. also, the meeting aimed at achieving the mutual goals of creating a safe investment environment, protecting consumers, and supporting business sustainability according to the highest standards.
HE Fahad Ahmed Al Khamiri, Director of SEDD, received the delegation from the Municipality that consisted Khalid Bin Falah Al Suwaidi, Director of Customer Service Department, Khalifa Bughanem Al Suwaidi, Director of Control and Inspection Department, and Imran Ahmed Al Mazmi. The delegation was also attended by a number of advisors, heads, and officials from the Department.
The two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation in a number of common areas, in line with Sharjah's strategic vision to improve business environment and provide services at world-class standards. Likely, they discussed mutual efforts that help to improving performance, providing the best services to customers, and continuously developing the sector, which contributes to attracting investments and enhancing the emirate's economic competitiveness.
At the end of the meeting, both parties emphasized the importance of holding such meetings on an ongoing basis, given their significant role in accelerating development processes, unifying efforts, and promoting mutual achievements between the two parties, with the goal of achieving better integration in work, supporting the emirate's business community, and achieving economic sustainability.
