SEDD affirms its commitment to its customers by renewing ISO certificates

Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD) has enhanced its record of quality certificates and awards by renewing a number of ISO certificates. These certificates included It included the Customer Service Charter - ISO 10001:2018, the Complaint Handling System - ISO 10002:2018, and the Customer Satisfaction Monitoring and Measurement System - ISO 10004:2018.

The Department succeeded in renewing the aforementioned certificates after passing the audit phase on all work procedures followed by it, and ensuring that all conditions and requirements of the quality systems in its various sections are met. This is done according to the report issued by the concerned company, and the results of the audit, which showed SEDD’s full commitment to the requirements of the administrative system in line with the mentioned specification. This reflects its commitment to international quality standards and its keenness on continuous improvement in the levels and mechanisms of providing its services to all customers in accordance with the best international standards.

Commenting on that, HE Sultan Abdullah bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, SEDD Chairman, said that the continuous development and keeping pace with the latest global trends regarding the quality of services is at the heart of the department’s strategy. This works to develop the emirate’s economy through planning and providing distinguished services using qualified human cadres and advanced technical systems in accordance with the highest quality standards.

HE pointed out that SEDD renewal of ISO certificates is the result of its tireless efforts to achieve the happiness of customers by providing an environment that pays great attention to them, by providing the highest levels of quality in the services provided and upgrading the Department's ability to improve its services. In addition, SEDD always seeks to achieve the aspirations of its customers by adopting innovative ways and mechanisms that improve the quality of services based on the highest standards of efficiency. Also, it works to implement the latest international technologies in the field of customer service, thus enhancing the quality of its services.

From her side, Hanadi Al Muhairi, Director of Strategic Planning and Performance Department, confirmed that the Department's success in renewing the ISO certificates reflects its application of the best international standards in terms of providing service to customers in accordance with the Customer Service Charter. She added that the Department of Strategic Planning and Performance works according to the highest standards to achieve SEDD’s vision, one of its most prominent goals is to develop services provided to customers and strategic partners and to adopt best practices in procedures, quality systems and institutional excellence.

Al Muhairi also appreciated the efforts of all the Department’s employees and their keenness to provide the factors and conditions for achieving quality practices in the various departments and sections, and their commitment and keenness to accomplish the tasks required in this regard. She referred to the directives of SEDD Chairman to ensure the continuity of the quality system and to provide the latest training and rehabilitation techniques for employees, to contribute to achieving the Department's goals and provide the best possible service to customers.
