Collaborative Business Relationship Management Policy

 

Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD) is committed to implementing the collaborative business relationship management system which falls within the international standard ISO 44001:2017. This system aims to build and strengthen strategic and sustainable partnerships with various stakeholders, based on the principles of trust, mutual respect, integrated interaction, shared responsibility, and mutual benefit. This supports the achievement of the Department's strategic objectives and provides added value to all parties.
Hence, SEDD top management adopts this policy and affirms its commitment to providing full support for its implementation, by ensuring compliance with legal, legislative, and regulatory requirements and monitoring the performance and continuous improvement of the collaborative business relationship management system.
This policy is implemented through a set of principles and executive objectives, which include:


First: Institutional Principles
1.    Establishing an integrated system for managing partnerships that aligns with global best practices and is consistent with the Department's institutional and strategic background.
2.    Promoting a culture of institutional cooperation and raising awareness of the importance of partnerships across all organizational levels.
3.    Institutional integration through the exchange of knowledge, expertise, and resources with partners.
4.    Working together to achieve initiatives and projects related to strategic objectives.


Second: Executive Objectives and Policies
1.    Identifying partners and studying their needs and expectations to ensure the implementation of effective partnerships.
2.    Developing an integrated electronic system for managing partnerships, including a central database and mechanisms to facilitate communication, monitor performance, and achieve integration.
3.    Ensuring cooperation in providing and developing mutual services and operations to enhance customer and community satisfaction.
4.    Identifying areas of partnership to achieve added value and mutual benefits for all parties.
5.    Periodically reviewing the performance of partnership system to identify areas for improvement and highlight the learned lessons.
6.    Strengthen risk mitigation mechanisms by integrating partnership management into the enterprise risk management system.
7.    Exploring future collaboration opportunities and establishing regulatory outlines that support the success of partnerships.
8.    Adopting best administrative and professional practices in designing, implementing, and monitoring partnerships.
