SEDD signs MOU with Khadamaty Al Mumyza Businessmen Services Center

Sharjah Economic Development Department “SEDD” and Khadamaty Al Mumyza Businessmen Services Center signed a memorandum of understanding “MOU”. The agreement provides e-services for business centers and SEDD e-services for the customers outside the Department's branches such as initial approval, commercial name preservation, renewal of the license, updating the license holder's data, and booking the date of the technical evaluation. It is worth mentioning that the agreement comes within SEDD’s concerns to facilitate business activities, enhance channels of communication with customers, provide time for businessmen and investors to carry out their transactions with ease, and to go in line with the Department’s plan for the e-shifting. 

SEDD receives ENOC

HE Sultan Abdullah bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Chairman of Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD), received HE Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Chief Executive Officer at (ENOC) Group, at SEDD main headquarter. Such a thing was done in order to strengthen areas of cooperation available in general and strategic partnership with Sharjah’s Economic Department to optimize the strength of the emirate's economy and the importance of the emirate's market for the group.

SEDD receives Sharjah Youth Council

HE Sultan Abdullah bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Chairman of Sharjah Economic Development Department “SEDD”, received Nada Abdullah Al Turaifi, Head of Sharjah Youth Council and Ahmed bu Kalah, member of Sharjah Youth Council in the presence of number of departments’ directors and head of sections. The meeting was held in order to discuss means of cooperation and to strength coordination between the two parties. Also, it aimed to look into the formation of youth councils in government as well as local institutions and departments under the Youth Government in the country.

SEDD, Al Qasimia University sign MOU

Sharjah Economic Development Department “SEDD” signed a memorandum of understanding “MOU” with Al Qasimia University in order to strengthen the economic development in the emirate of Sharjah. Also, the MOU calls the two parties to promote cooperation through conducting economic studies and consultations that contribute to the development of the economy in Sharjah and exchanging consultations, technical assistance, support and institutional development in the fields of knowledge in general and human and economic development in particular. Besides, it states the collaboration in organizing conferences, workshops and specialized seminars that discuss and review the latest developments and best practices in areas of common interest.

SEDD, Emirates NBD sign MOU

Sharjah Economic Development Department “SEDD” signed an MOU with Emirates NBD in order to develop the services provided to customers and promote the economic development in the emirate. Such a thing is done through offering digital services that contribute to enhancing the reliance on paperless procedures and giving customers the option of electronically querying the licenses of economic establishments through multiple and approved banking channels.
